Discover Experience

(Option 1) Sign up for a Discover Sailing 3 Hour Experience

**Currently only available at Lake Diefenbaker.**

Each trip starts with an orientation and safety before heading out.
We head out on the water and enjoy the ride. Observe duties, tasks or obligations of crew.
Our trips will have from one to four participants
This is a Discover Experience. You will observe the basics of sailing and assist with direct supervision.
Physical Condition: It is expected that you can move with some agility to all parts of the boat in calm conditions.
Cost: $125 each, $300 for up to four.

(Option 2) Sign up for a Discover Cruising 10 hour Experience.

Each trip starts with an orientation and safety before heading out.
Want to learn and experience the basics to be a valueable crew member but not currently interested in formal certification? This is for you.
We also offer this as an add on option for you to join a friend or spouse who is taking formal instruction.
This Experience is available at all our locations.
Cost: Starting at $200 each.

How to prepare for either trip:

Book your session and ideally bring a friend or two.
Water and light snacks will be available. Bring a few layers of clothes. Splashing waves and light rain are possible.
Bring no more than one small bag with your water bottle, a few favorite snacks and a dry set of clothes or light rain jacket. Include sunscreen (non aerosol, please), sunglasses and hat. And always include patience and a positive attitude!

** If you complete a Discover Experience with Living Sky Sailing School, your fee will be credited to any future course registered and completed by the end of the next sailing season.
